Recovery Support Services
Peer recovery coaches, recovery housing, employment.
Recovery-oriented systems of care extend beyond acute treatment into the long-term supports that sustain remission. The track will cover the certified peer recovery specialist workforce — now Medicaid-billable in most states — and the evidence base from RCTs of peer navigators following ED overdose and hospitalization. Recovery housing sessions will address NARR Level I-IV standards, Oxford House outcomes, and the integration of MOUD-friendly housing. Additional content covers recovery community organizations, collegiate recovery programs, recovery-friendly workplace certifications, fair-chance hiring, and the evolving evidence on contingency management as a recovery support, not just an acute treatment.
