Clear standards for abstracts, oral presentations, posters, and on-site conduct — so your work lands the way you want it to.

Abstract Guidelines

All abstracts must comply with the following standards before they enter peer review:

  • Word limit — 250 to 400 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations)
  • Title — clear, concise, informative; maximum 25 words
  • Authors — full names with affiliations; email of corresponding author
  • Structure — background · methods · results · conclusions
  • Keywords — 3 to 5 relevant terms
  • Language — English only
  • Originality — must represent original, unpublished work

Oral Presentation

  • Duration — 15 min presentation + 5 min Q&A
  • Format — PowerPoint (16:9 widescreen); PDF also accepted
  • Upload — to speaker-ready desk at least 2 hours before session
  • Arrival — 10 minutes before your session at the hall
  • Template — use the official 16:9 template from Downloads
Content policy Presentations must be research-focused. Promotional content is reserved for sponsor-session slots only.

Poster Guidelines

  • Dimensions — A0 portrait (841 × 1189 mm)
  • Mounting — materials provided on-site
  • Attendance — presenting author must be at the poster during the assigned session
  • Display — posters must be shown for the full day of the assigned session
  • Awards — Best Poster announced at the closing ceremony

Publication Opportunities

All accepted abstracts will be published in the official WCAM 2027 Book of Proceedings (ISBN-allocated). Selected papers may be invited for publication in partner journals after additional peer review.

WCAM 2027 is committed to providing a welcoming and harassment-free environment for all participants regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion or nationality. Anyone in breach will be removed from the event without refund.
